Description

Mark the 50th anniversary of a legendary role-playing game with this Dungeons & Dragons stamp issue.

The sheet of 20 stamps includes 10 different designs that showcase characters, creatures, and adventures familiar to players and to the imaginative world of D&D.

The selvage includes part of an illustration depicting a group of adventurers coming face to face with a massive green dragon in a ruin scattered with gold. This artwork previously appeared on the box cover of the D&D Starter Set.

Beneath the illustration is a photograph of a gold 20-sided die placed above the Dungeons & Dragons logo, known for its distinctive ampersand shaped like a fire-breathing dragon. Below the logo is a portion of a hand-drawn map of a classic dungeon, a maze of caverns where players may encounter monsters, traps, and treasure.

These stamps are issued as Forever stamps, so they will always be valid for the current one-ounce First-Class Mail postage rate.
